Summary:

The primary objective of this project is to promote data quality in the SAFETYNET database and maintain New Jersey’s state rating in an acceptable level (Green) for all defined State Safety Data Quality (SSDQ) measures through consistent monitoring. The project will also provide recommendations for the future enhancement of the project and how monitoring data quality can be provided consistently. As of October 2010, the compliance rate for “Crash Accuracy” measure, the most problematic measurement criterion, is 92%; the goal of this effort is to assist NJDOT in obtaining a “good” rating which equals a minimum of 95% compliance for all SSDQ measurement criteria.
