Summary:

The goal of this project is to develop a road map for research through CAIT on transportation infrastructure resilience.  The objective is to:

1) Develop an inventory and assessment of current research and activities

2) Develop an inventory of research needs and prioritize these needs

3) Connect these research needs to:

a) CAIT’s mission (and US DOTs strategic goals) related to state of good repair, safety and economic competitiveness

b) Current capabilities and interests within the consortium

c) Potential for leveraging investments and building synergies

The product of the research, the roadmap, can serve as a resource for future research proposals, assisting CAIT Consortium members to use consistent terminology and understand the context for new ideas in the current body of knowledge.
