Bio
David Maruca joined CAIT’s New Jersey Local Technical Assistance Program (NJ LTAP) in October 2013 as a program development coordinator. He retired as a lieutenant from the New Jersey State Police after 27 years of service. During his time with the state police, he was the unit head of the Motor Coach Compliance Safety Audit Review Unit within the Transportation Safety Bureau. Maruca also was an instructor at the State Police Academy for many years and has a background in security and investigations. He received his master’s degree in education from Seton Hall University.
